Aristotle – A Dedicated Reconstruction

For three months, I worked on this reconstruction of Rembrandt’s Aristotle, following 17th-century traditions in every detail. From the first glue layer on the linen and authentic grounding to the handmade paint and varnish—each element was carefully crafted. Even Rembrandt’s own corrections and the characteristic cracked relief have been faithfully incorporated.
This painting matches the exact dimensions of the original and serves as a true tribute to the master himself.
