Oil on panel – 164 x 70 cm

For a very special location I completed this study on Correggio, called Jupiter and Io. I started this study in 2006 because I was very impressed by this beautiful painting. For various reasons I never finished it completely, but when this beautiful location in Amsterdam wanted it, I started to finish it and look how it hangs beautifully in the evenings.
