Blessing by Jacob (reproduction after Rembrandt). Oil on canvas including traditional superstructure with old glues and materials. The work contains a handmade ornament frame as per the original.

After a weekend of studying the original in Kassel, Germany, I made this reproduction. I worked on it for a year. I also used the old 17th-century materials here, such as in the construction when gluing the linen as well as the oils and pigments, lead white etc.
